Sauna Pro designs and builds premium indoor and outdoor saunas tailored to your space and lifestyle. Each project is custom-crafted for comfort, durability, and long-term performance.

Indoor & Outdoor Sauna Construction

Indoor and outdoor sauna construction involves building custom saunas tailored to specific environments, using durable materials like cedar for weather resistance outdoors and seamless integration indoors.

Indoor sauna construction focuses on integrating the sauna into the home, often prioritizing efficient insulation, vapor barriers, and seamless access to utilities such as electricity and water. Materials like cedar or hemlock are commonly used for their resistance to moisture and pleasant aroma. Proper ventilation and careful placement are essential to ensure safety and comfort.
Outdoor sauna construction, on the other hand, requires additional considerations for weatherproofing and durability. The structure must withstand varying temperatures, precipitation, and humidity. Durable, rot-resistant woods such as cedar, spruce, or thermally modified wood are preferred. Waterproof roofing, sturdy foundations, and elevated platforms help protect the sauna from ground moisture and weather extremes. Outdoor saunas also offer greater design flexibility, including options for wood-burning stoves and scenic placement.
Both indoor and outdoor sauna construction benefit from careful planning, high-quality materials, and attention to ventilation and safety standards, resulting in relaxing, enjoyable spaces tailored to their environments.

Infrared & Traditional Sauna Options

Infrared saunas use radiant panels to heat the body directly at lower temperatures (110-140°F), promoting detoxification, circulation, and relaxation without high humidity. They offer near, mid, or far-infrared wavelengths for targeted benefits like skin health or deep muscle relief. Traditional saunas heat the air via stoves or heaters with rocks, reaching 160-195°F, often allowing steam for a classic, invigorating experience focused on intense sweating and respiratory benefits.

Infrared saunas use radiant panels to warm your body directly at lower temperatures, typically 110-140°F. This helps with detoxification, better circulation, and relaxation, all without the high humidity. You can choose from near-, mid-, or far-infrared wavelengths, each offering specific benefits, such as improved skin health or relief for deep muscles. In contrast, traditional saunas heat the air with stoves or heated rocks, reaching higher temperatures of 160 to 195°F. They often include steam, creating a classic sauna experience that encourages intense sweating and supports your breathing.

Residential & Commercial Projects

Residential projects create personal wellness spaces in homes, emphasizing compact designs, energy efficiency, and custom aesthetics to fit living areas seamlessly. Commercial projects deliver large-scale, high-traffic saunas for spas, gyms, or hotels, prioritizing durability, compliance, and features like advanced ventilation for frequent use.

Residential sauna building projects focus on transforming home environments into personal wellness retreats. These projects typically emphasize compact, space-efficient designs that can be integrated into existing basements, bathrooms, or spare rooms. Attention is given to energy-efficient materials and heating systems to minimize operating costs. Custom aesthetics play a significant role, allowing homeowners to choose finishes, lighting, and layouts that match their interior style. Additionally, residential sauna projects often prioritize user-friendly controls and safety features, ensuring a relaxing yet secure experience for all household members. Commercial projects deliver large-scale, high-traffic saunas for spas, gyms, or hotels, prioritizing durability, compliance, and features like advanced ventilation for frequent use.
