My name is Brian Phillips. My career began over thirty years ago as a representative for manufacturers for the home furnishings industry, our family business. Over time, my focus shifted from sales to the creative aspects of product design and development, with sales becoming a secondary responsibility. Even after that chapter ended, my passion for home furnishings and building relationships with people continued to grow. My goal became clear. To design products that are both aesthetically pleasing, functional, and affordable to enhance your everyday life.
So, I entered the field of organizational design. Closets, pantries, garages and in general any space in the home that can use organizational help. I did this for many years before deciding to go out on my own. I now design and work for the consumer and collaborate with the leading organizational companies in Southeast Wisconsin and Northern Illinois.

I observed a growing and crowded market for this service. Each company was fighting for the same accounts. How this process traditionally works is the end-user contacts several organizational companies to schedule a free in-home consultation. The 1st company goes out in 2 days and designs and quotes. The 2nd company is in 6 days. The 3rd company in 10 days, etc... By the end of the process, the consumer is confused as all the designs and pricing are never aligned and may end up settling for a product that was not the original vision and could take months for completion. At that point, I was inspired to create a company where customers could co-design their ideal space and receive a fair, transparent price. This realization led to the creation of a "THE CLOSET BROKERAGE COMPANY." A Company dedicated to making the process of achieving an organized space straightforward and stress-free.

We design the space together with your vision and budget in mind. We establish a target price for the project that fits your budget. We then send out the designs to 4 or 5 reputable organizational companies to quote on the project. All these companies are all vying for the same customers and market shar. This approach enables you to receive timely quotes that are tailored to both your budget and your vision. This process is similar to how banks compete to offer the best mortgage rates.

The materials spec'd out for the projects are finest available and standard thru the industry. This is a 3/4" industrial grade melamine which weighs about 100 lbs. per 4' x 8' sheet. What you find at some of the big-name home stores is a commercial grade melamine weighing about 70 lbs. per 4' x 8' sheet. That's a 30% difference in density. That's a big difference.

We take a hands-on approach to planning and designing your ideal closet or project area. A designer will visit your space for a consultation and assessment, then develop a customized plan for you. Once approved, a pricing structure will be provided based on your needs. If the pricing doesn't align with your initial goals, we can scale down accordingly to fit your budget. Next, we share your design with trusted companies in your area that manufacturer and sell organization for the home. Inviting them to compete for your project space with competitive bids. When the bids are received, we will meet again to review and compare each proposal directly. Each company brings its own strengths to the table, excelling in different areas. Some may shine in hardware quality, others in drawer construction, edge finishes, or speedy delivery, etc. Following this review, you will be fully informed about the strengths and potential limitations of each company so that you can come up with an informed decision on which company to hire. This process guarantee's you're getting the best price/value for your project(s) in a timely, straightforward manner where you can compare apples to apples.
